Tasting Notes: Butter, lime and Bosc pear head into apricot blossom and quince with the slightest touch of honey. Florals and dried mango round out this dry Chardonnay with a finish of morning toast. Plush oak leads to a full, luscious finish.

Winemaker Notes: The 2018 French Creek Chardonnay was made for Vital by the staff of Artifex Wine Company and Ashley Trout. Picked at 24.3 brix. Hand harvested by the crew at French Creek Vineyard on September 5, 2018. Crushed and cold-macerated under inert gas for 8 hours before pressing. Fermented and aged in neutral oak barrels for 4 months with occasional stirring. 14.1% alcohol, with zero residual sugar. Finished at 3.35 pH and 6 g/L titratable acidity; no malolactic conversion. 95 cases produced.
